If you were one of the New Yorkers crowding Times Square last night, you got a quick look at what your life might be like in the world of The Amazing Spider-Man 2, living at the whim of godlike beings who enjoy ripping up public utilities and harassing beat cops. Now, that trailer has been released on YouTube: we're seeing some more of Jamie Foxx's Electro this time around, a little more of Paul Giamatti's Rhino, and a lot more special effects, as well as an introduction from Stan Lee. Amazing Spider-Man 2 is coming out in the summer of 2014, not long before the team behind it moves straight into filming a third installment.

Electro destroys Times Square in New Year's Eve 'Amazing Spider-Man 2' trailer
